Hey, I've BEEN here. Not my fault if no one else is. Still it's better than the He-who-shall-not-be-named trolling over on /toy/.

I usually don't bother writing what I've bought, because it seems like pointless boasting... but for the sake of the thread: I'm waiting on a few Lucky star Figmas from Otacute, Aigis from HLJ, and WARDICK from ebay!

I might make Kagamiku into a Subtitles-Tan as I'm just getting her for her faces to give to regular Kagami. The spare blank faces from the Summer Lucky Star figures may go to making faces for Subtitles. Still contemplating if I may go through with it, but I will for certain need a base body to make a Prince Misao.

The longer I've been following the Japanese articulated figure business, the more convinced I've become there's something very wrong with the Japanese psyche. They'll happily buy about twenty iterations of the same schoolgirl in different outfits. But a male character? Oh no! MAN IS PIG DISGUSTING!

I finally saw the GIJoe movie today and actually liked it. It was incredibly stupid, but man was it entertaining. So what is everyone's favorite figure or vehicle from the movie line?

I have to admit I never even saw the movie (it's on my "rent it" list) but I just had to buy some of the figures because they looked so cool. My favourite is Heavy Duty for the silly reason he's the closest thing to an articulated Mr. Eko figure I'm ever likely to get.

Cause I think a healthy amount of tongue-in-cheek joking is fun, but when you start to fuck things up for everyone else, that's no good for anyone.
